Bei dieser Ausgabe handelt es sich um eine zweisprachige Publikation auf Deutsch und Französisch. Die Gedichte werden zunächst auf Deutsch in alphabetischer Reihenfolge abgedruckt. Analog zu dieser Reihenfolge erfolgt die Reihung der Gedichte in französischer Übersetzung. Eine Intention des Bandes war es, erstmals die gesamte Lyrik Jelineks in einem Buch zu veröffentlichen. Drei neuere, seit 2005 publizierte Gedichte (

o. T.

), finden sich jedoch nicht in dem Band. Erstmals veröffentlicht ist im Band das Gedicht

, das Jelinek im Rahmen der 20.

Österreichischen Jugendkulturwoche in Innsbruck

gelesen hat, bislang aber nicht publiziert worden war.
